For a luxury car launch, the challenge is not simply to create a beautiful stage or an impressive reveal moment. The bigger question is how the entire space and guest experience can reflect the brand while keeping the product at the center of attention.
This was how Golden Point approached the concept for the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II, under the theme “The Evolution of Elegance.”

Ghost Series II brings together two seemingly opposite qualities: the craftsmanship, refinement and timeless elegance associated with Rolls-Royce, and the evolution of its design and technology. Instead of creating a completely new story around the car, we chose to start with the product itself.
The Space Should Highlight the Product, Not Compete With It
One of the most important principles in luxury experience design is knowing when to hold back. A premium environment does not need to be filled with decorative elements. Every detail should have a purpose.
For the Ghost Series II concept, distinctive elements of the car — Mustique Blue, the front fascia, LED lighting, metallic finishes and the Ghost identity — became the visual materials used to develop the event space.

The visual materials used to develop the event space
Dark backgrounds created depth and allowed the lighting, metallic surfaces and Mustique Blue to stand out. At the Ghost Bar, the lighting was designed around the Mustique Blue color palette. At The Drum, the Rolls-Royce identity was developed into an LED installation rather than simply being displayed as a decorative logo.
The objective was simple:
The space should make people look at the car, not away from it.
Luxury Does Not Have to Feel Heavy
Another layer of the concept came from the Mediterranean lifestyle. Curved forms inspired by ocean waves, fluid movement, shades of blue and a sense of freedom were introduced to balance the more technological and metallic elements of the experience.

Mediterranean waves inspired the lines and lighting movements that guided guests into the event
This was especially visible at the entrance, where Mediterranean waves inspired the lines and lighting movements that guided guests into the event. It also reflected the way we interpreted luxury for Ghost: sophisticated, but never excessive. Technology, LED and premium finishes were important, but so were softness, balance and space.
As one line from the proposal expressed it:
True elegance whispers – it does not shout.

Experience Design Starts With the Guest Journey
When designing an event, we do not look only at the main stage. A more important question is: How will guests experience the space?
From the moment they arrive until the moment they see the car, guests move through a sequence of touchpoints: Entrance → Portal → The Drum → Ghost Bar → The Icon → Stage.

Experience layout structure of the event
Each space has a different role. The Entrance creates the first impression. The Portal marks the transition into the experience. The installations and Ghost Bar introduce guests to the world of Ghost. Finally, the Stage becomes the climax of the journey.
The Portal, in particular, was designed as an immersive tunnel, with continuous lines of light guiding guests through the space. Walking through it creates a sense of leaving the outside environment behind and entering a different world.

For us, a good event should not wait until the show begins to create an experience.
The experience starts with the guest’s very first step.
A Product Reveal Needs a Story
The reveal is naturally one of the most important moments of any automotive launch. But simply turning off the lights, playing an effect and revealing the car is not enough to create emotion. For this concept, the opening performance was structured into three chapters:
Freedom → The Evolution → Elegance in the Details

- Freedom uses ballet and movements inspired by Mediterranean waves.
- The Evolution introduces modern music and dynamic lighting to express transformation and innovation.
- Finally, in Elegance in the Details, the Ghost Series II is revealed.
The car therefore does not simply appear. Guests are taken through a story before they see it. This is a small but important principle in Experience Design:
Do not only think about what guests will see. Think about how they should feel just before they see it.
Luxury Is Also About How Guests Are Served
A beautiful space solves only one part of the experience. For a luxury event, the smallest service details matter: how guests are welcomed, how they check in, what their first drink is, how the team communicates with them, and how discreetly the service is delivered.

The guest journey was developed through personalized greetings, VIP check-in, bespoke welcome cocktails, curated walkthroughs, French-style butler service, canapés and interactive mixology. Even the menu continued the Mediterranean and French Riviera story, using ingredients and culinary inspiration that matched the overall concept. This is something we always consider in Experience Design: guests do not separate design, operations, hospitality and F&B into different categories.
They simply remember whether the overall experience felt right.
A Strong Concept Must Work Across Every Touchpoint
“The Evolution of Elegance” was therefore more than a tagline on a key visual. It became the principle behind the development of the entire experience — from space and lighting to installations, performance, hospitality and F&B. Each element had its own role, but all of them came back to the same spirit of Ghost Series II.

This is especially important when designing experiences for luxury brands. A strong idea on a presentation board is only the beginning. The idea must remain consistent through design, production and operation, so that when guests finally enter the space, they can still feel what the original concept was meant to communicate.
At Golden Point, we believe a strong brand experience is not defined by how many elements are created.
It is defined by whether every element tells the same story.
From Concept to Real Experience
A concept only creates real value when its original spirit remains intact through design, production and final execution. This is also how Golden Point approaches our projects: connecting ideas, experience design, production and execution within one process, so that every final touchpoint continues to communicate the brand story as intended.

With in-house production capabilities and experience working across premium and luxury projects, Golden Point supports clients beyond concept development. We focus on turning ideas into experiences that people can see, touch and experience in real life.
